STC Trusted Foundry Services
CNSE's STC is one of only 4 companies in the nation accredited through the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) Trusted Foundry program for CMOS post-processing, one of two accredited organizations that can provide integration of Trusted IC with MEMS, and is also accredited for trusted aggregation, packaging, and assembly services.
STC can provide defense, intelligence and other U.S. government agencies an array of services in a cleared, 130,000 square foot facility setting. STC maintains over 30,000 square feet of Class 100, Class 1000 and Class 10000 cleanrooms designed for low to mid-volume manufacturing and packaging/assembly services for 6” and 8” substrates, including silicon, quartz, glass, and specialty materials.
As a part of the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE), STC also provides customers with access to bleeding-edge contract research and development services, utilizing CNSE’s world-class 300mm semiconductor development facilities. CNSE combines academic pursuits in the areas of nanoscience, nanoengineering and nanobioscience with a focus on rapid transfer of novel concepts and ideas into industrial use. To this end, CNSE has established a unique industry-university-government partnership model that provides access to state-of-the-art 300mm wafer processing capabilities required for rapid insertion of such concepts into mainstream manufacturing.
